Faucet, sink & toilet repair and installation
From a dripping faucet to a brand-new kitchen sink, Essential Plumbing handles the fixtures you use every day. We install and repair faucets, sinks, garbage disposals and toilets in kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms across Hendricks County.
Signs it’s time to call
- A faucet that drips, leaks at the base, or is hard to turn.
- Low flow from one faucet — often a clogged aerator or cartridge.
- Water under the sink, a damp cabinet floor or a musty smell.
- A toilet that runs, refills on its own, or has a weak flush.
- Water on the floor at the base of the toilet, or a toilet that rocks.
- A garbage disposal that hums, jams or leaks.
- A shut-off valve that won’t turn or drips when you use it.
Faucets & sinks
- New faucet installs — kitchen pull-downs, bathroom faucets and utility faucets. Choosing a new faucet? We install major brands such as Delta.
- Faucet repair — cartridges, washers, O-rings and aerators.
- Sink replacement — kitchen, bathroom vanity and laundry/utility sinks, with new drains and supply lines.
- Garbage disposals — repair and replacement.
- Shut-off valves and supply lines — replacing old, stuck or leaking valves.
Toilets
- Running toilets — flappers, fill valves and flush valves.
- Leaks at the base — resetting the toilet on a new wax ring and checking the flange.
- Weak or incomplete flushes and toilets that clog often.
- Toilet replacement and new installs.
Small leaks add up
A dripping faucet or a toilet that runs between flushes can waste a surprising amount of water — and a slow leak under a sink can damage a cabinet or subfloor before you notice it. If something doesn’t look or sound right, call and we’ll take a look. Clogs are covered on our drain cleaning page.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Why does my toilet keep running?
The most common causes are a worn flapper that lets water leak into the bowl, or a fill valve that’s set too high or not shutting off. Both are usually quick repairs.
Why is there water around the base of my toilet?
Water at the base often means the wax ring seal under the toilet has failed, or a supply line or tank bolt is leaking. A failed wax ring needs attention soon, because it can damage the subfloor.
Can you install a faucet or sink I already bought?
Give us a call with the make and model. We install faucets and sinks from major brands such as Delta and can tell you what else may be needed for your setup.
My faucet only has low pressure — is it the plumbing?
If only one faucet is weak, it’s usually a clogged aerator or cartridge, which is common with hard water. If every fixture is weak, the cause is elsewhere — on a well, see our well pump page.
Do you repair garbage disposals?
Yes. We repair and replace garbage disposals, including units that hum, jam or leak.
